  I completed my undergraduate degree in Fine Arts concentrated in Photography from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA and my Associates degree in Psychology from South Georgia College in Douglas, GA. I was born in the rural south and my roots show themselves in my work. Most of my ideas are drawn from my memories and my pieces reflect an attempt to preserve my thoughts. I combine my photography with several different mediums because I feel no project should be confined to one specific means. I often apply my photographs to clay, glass, fabric, and silk screen prints. My work has been shown in local venues such as the Averitt Center for the Arts in Statesboro, GA. I recently had my senior exhibition, “Exit 2008,” at Georgia Southern University’s Center for Art and Theater. |
